Questions
- Who pays provisional tax?
- Generally anyone who earns income not taxed through PAYE, like most freelancers, unless an exemption applies. Check SARS guidance for your situation.
- What if a deadline falls on a weekend?
- SARS normally expects payment by the last business day before. Pay early to be safe.
